This was kinda reinforced when the ADSL modem of a friend of mine died, and he needed to get a replacement. After looking around the pathetic range of ADSL wireless routers Australia has to suffer through, I narrowed it down to a Netgear and a Netcomm. I was weighing up the merits of both when he said, "Just get the netgear" and plonked down $90. Just like that.
On the other hand, you don't really want to know what I went through to get my Compaq CQ45-127TX...........................
