Tired.
Disconnected.
Frozen.
Crushed under work.
Conflicts with housemates.
Blown away by the wind.
Soaked by the 24 hr rain.
Disputes.
That just sums up what the week has been for me.
My good friends who know me on MSN would have realised that I was conspicuously absent for the past week or so. The lack of blog postings. The unreplied emails, the unanswered friendster messages. The total absence.
It has been a tough week for me since I came back to NZ after the 2 week holiday in Kuching. And amazingly, 3 weeks have passed since I left my dear cat city.
Madonna isn’t kidding when she sings “
time goes by”. Really.
I wouldn’t go into details in this public domain area, but suffice to say that it has been hell since I came back here. The problems started when I had to move into a new place, as the old place where I stayed in the 1st half of this year needed my room. I moved into this new place, which is call it ASEAN house, coz I’m staying with a thai, Vietnamese and a Hong Kong fella. Ok, HK isn’t part of ASEAN, but close enough…..
Conflicts emerged over internet access, food, money, electricity, and even the quantity of food I eat. I may be thin, but surprisingly I eat a lot. A lot. They probably thought “oh, this thin asian guy is coming in, probably doesn’t eat much, so we’ll give him the bare minimum.” Then when they see me eat like mad, they whined that I ate too much (yes! This is a true fact!), and moaned that food is expensive here! I was really angry, and my anger hasn’t fully subsided. That was probably the most insulting thing that I have ever heard in my life! Well, I’m sorry that I eat “too much”! find another “asian” that will cope up with your starving methods.
Then internet access was the next flash point. I’m hoping its settled, but there are still many problems. Sharing an internet connection is really a problem. And no, I will not get my own line! These money sucking leeches.
Where was I?
Anyway, I hope to resume blog updates as usual. Many things have happened. Such as NZ getting new coins, which are MUCH MUCH lighter!
More to come! (Hopefully)
