Teh Tarik in Space anyone?

Even the NZ Herald took note of our weird attempt.

Not only in NZ, but it seems the world also paid some attention of Malaysians trying to make teh tarik in space.

I just wonder how are they going to do that. Being on earth, with gravity, its not easy. With space, ie no gravity, how are they going to tarik the teh?

Amongst other problems I can think are:

• Will the russians allow durian on board?
• How is he going to pray in space? Where's Mecca? Or where's up in the first place?
• With at least 40 sunrises in space while orbiting the earth, where and when are the "morning" prayers?
• And hows the air up there?
  

Anymore than anyone can think off?

Haruhism virus afflicts Newsweek

(For those who still have no idea what Haruhism is, the part one crash course and part two sequel is here. Read and be educated to fight this plague!)

Ninghua-In a blow to the anti-Haruhism movement, even the generally respectable Newsweek, if you ignore a few controversies, are the latest victim of the Haruhism plauge.

In a recent article talking about the highly popular internet video clip site youtube's influence in Japan, the magazine HAD to say:

Already, though, YouTube has become a major conduit of the popular buzz. A cartoon aired by a local TV station, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, has become a national phenomenon.

WHY, oh why, did it have to mention the dreaded sentance, lamented ninghuashijiedongmanshehuiderenmingfanduihaluyishenjiao's (宁华世界动漫社会的人民反对哈卢意深教) leader Ning-Hua. He bemoaned the shortsightness of the author, Akiko Kashiwagi, saying "Surely there are other things to watch on youtube than a couple of idiots making total fools of themselfs?!"

He got so upset, and started denouncing all supporters of Haruhism, saying "The world has truly gone mad. When there are much other better things to watch, such as the timeless Tsubasa Chronicle" which there is no secret the person behind Ninghua.blogspot.com is a big fan of.

Ning-Hua called on the saner minds of the anime universe of stand up and fight this plague. "Despite the fact that Suzuma Haruhi no Yuutsu (凉宫春日的忧郁[14全]) has finished airing in Japan, its radicilised supporters, most clearly influence by this plague, show no sign of backing down. If anything, they are even more determined to take over the world, by asking for a second season based on the novels."

"The plague is getting worst" warned Ning-Hua. "We have received reports of a break-off group calling itself Kyon'ism trying to ride on the wave of this infection and wreck even more damage." Ning-Hua had dire warnings for the entire anime world, saying "If we dont rise up and fight this plague now, it will grow into the monstrosity and eventually overwhelm the rest of the anime community" He showed intelegence reports that the cult was trying to create the "Ten commands" of Haruhism and "poison the minds of unssupecting people to join this rabid cult"

Ninghuashijiedongmanshehuiderenmingfanduihaluyishenjiao's (宁华世界动漫社会的人民反对哈卢意深教) later issued a statement calling this mention of Haruhism in a respected magazine "the biggest misreporting we have seen to date" and its Leader Ning-Hua added a personal responce saying "What do these people see in parodies? They only serve to waste time and clog up percious bandwidth that could be used to learn and watch real facts."

The other Merdeka celebration

Side rant: 1 more paper to go. Can I tahan it out? I feel like I'm going to break any minute.


While the rest of Malaysia Celebrates their Merdeka Celebrations under the blissful ignorance of disregarding us East Malaysian, this Kuching'ite spent 31 Aug like another day, in the exam room. And why not? No Malaysians here to shout anything.

Anyway, the good news. AT least that scumbag our "deputy PM" did praise us for the good performance. And why not? I know some people who put their heart and time, lots of time involving just to satisfy the big shots.
The Bad news? After the parade ended, they cabut back to the civilisation called Putrajaya.

Told you they dont care for us East Malaysians. The only came coz its Kuching's turn this year.

But behind the spin by the Government press , did anyone notice any chinese in the celebrations? Even the star admits that it could only find bumi's willing to interview. They say focus on progress, but with idiots like Najib and Khairy in the leadership, how can we ever progress? Honestly, I still cant undertsand why we put up with people like these who dont give a damn for us East Malaysians.

At least the parade did wonders to Kuching's economy, infrasturcture and roads. Even if it was just for 1 week. and kept the tourst dollars happy.

This guy should look closely at the crowd. Can you see who makes the bulk of the audience? All Bumi's! You think we chinese got so much time to waste to look at RM20 million of our oil, gaz and timber revenues be soaked up by some crony profiting from this ah?

And what is this school getting more than what my alma mater, Batu Lintang ever got? Sure, its a special school, with special children, but honestly Najib, have you ever visited it? How long did it take you to realise that? Honestly, those Peninsula scumbags dont give a damn about us. Witness our roads. Havent they destoryed enough already?

Read his lips: we want feedback from the people. Just the wants we want to hear. Well, Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, heres my feedback:

a) Stop spending RM20 mil on a celebration. Here in NZ they dont have a National day(were technically part of the British commonwealth or something like that), but we have ANZAC day, and they just cost a nice NZ$2 mil for a 4 hour nationwide celebration.
b)We Kuching people should have the right to have full, unrestricted access to the Padang to see the celebrations and take pictures of Tai Tai's stealing flowers, amongst other things.
c)Dont close schools. Why on earth does St Tom and St Mary get a day off, while we, poor normal people have to go, just beacuse you close the road for your own benefit?!
d) Must the poor kids wake up at 5AM to practise?

The nice thing about being overseas, and being afflicated with the Malaysian-Singaporean club that most of the people there have lived in NZ for most of their lives, is that NO ONE GIVES A DAMN HERE! We Malaysians are out numbered by the kiasu's. Sigh. Always a minority where ever we go.

And heres a Ninghua community message:

MALAYSIA WAS FORMED ON 16th SEPTEMBER, NOT 31 AUGUST YOU SINGLE CELLED IDIOTS WHO DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT US! 31 AUG IS MALAYA LAH!
